TBA Church Family,
As we continue to monitor the ever changing situation related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have made the very difficult and less than preferable decision to move to a Streaming only format for our corporate worship gathering, effective tomorrow, Sunday, March 15, 2020. To be clear, there will be NO CORPORATE WORSHIP SERVICE AT TBA tomorrow morning, but rather, please join us online for worship (Streaming will be live on TBA’s Facebook page, YouTube, and through our church website (www.tbachurch.com)). In addition, tonight’s corporate prayer event has also been cancelled. Please join us in prayer sometime between 8pm & midnight from the comfort of your own home as we would have done corporately.
Scripture is clear that we are not to allow anything to hinder our meeting together, so we will continue to do so, simply in a different format as we walk in the tension of considering the importance of protecting our church family during this time as well as the importance of worshipping together regularly. Please prayerfully consider the importance of us continuing to worship and serve as a united body even in a season like this one where we have to choose to not gather corporately. Be obedient to opportunities Holy Spirit puts in front of you to care for others during this season, while praying and using wise caution to not expose yourself unnecessarily. Be faithful in your financial giving, allowing ministry to continue to happen and providing resources that will prepare us to respond as needed in future days or weeks (give online via the website, button in your weekly email, TBA Connect, online bill pay, or mail a check). Be in prayer often and regularly for all affected by this virus, for our church family as we walk and serve in this uncertain time, for our community that does not know Christ, and for our national and local government and other leaders charged with giving guidance to our communities during this time. Pray for hearts to be open to their need for Christ and for lives to be changed in the midst of difficult situations.
In way of details, any ministry or even outside group currently scheduled to use the TBA Facility will be cancelled/postponed until further notice. This includes any D Groups, small groups, Men’s & Women’s Ministry, etc. As mentioned before, we will continue to monitor the situation and make the best decision possible day by day. As soon as deemed safe to do so, we will reinstate our corporate worship gathering and other ministry events. Please watch email, text, social media and our website for ongoing updates and information. Please continue to be in prayer for our church and the world around us throughout this season. Please continue to be faithful as servants of Christ and in your support of our church family, both through service and stewardship.
